Tina Louise Virgil disappeared in late February or March 2006. Sister Tina became concerned when he had no news of her sister, after three weeks, then called CMPD and made a Report of Missing Persons.
Tina Virgil lived at 1500 Greenview Place with her boyfriend Raymond Leon Thomas. Virgil Thomas and had a history domestic violence and the two were arrested a month before his death by attacking another.
CMPD Follow the missing persons report in May and December 2006. Detectives spoke with the sisters of Virgil and tried to contact her boyfriend, Raymond Thomas, in December. Thomas said he would go to the police station for questioning but never appeared.
On March 22, 2006, loggers in Anson County, discovered a garbage bag in a large current-Smith Ferry Rd The bag contained a woman's body. The police interviewed the resident who lives in the Smith-Ferry Rd He told police he saw a little blue or purple suspicious truck drive by the road, three to four days before the loggers found the body. Man said he remembered seeing the truck because it was on the road at high speed and Twenty minutes later the same truck came speeding up the road. He saw a person in the truck, but he could not say whether they were men or women.
Detectives in Anson County and the SBI have not been able to identify the body until February 26, 2007. Dental records confirmed that the woman is in Anson County in March was 42, Tina Louise Virgil. Police say Virgil was a homicide victim and say he was killed by blunt trauma.
On Feb. 20, 2007, a special agent the SBI interviewed Raymond Thomas. He told the officer that the last time I saw Tina Virgil March 8, 2006. Thomas said he and Virgil had an argument and Tina left by the door we never heard from again. He said Tina not a suitcase and he never sought. He said he gave clothes to his ex-wife Tina. In addition, Thomas said her parents Anson County is the agent and noted that he drives a blue / gray truck.
In March 5, 2007, a warrant was issued for the new truck of Thomas. Crime scene technicians were scraped from the truck and seized the truck cover, a tire iron and a lance, 380 spent casing. The search warrant details that have not met in the house.
Interestingly, Aaron Wood was found shot dead seven days ago, 7 March 2007 in the 1501 Greenview Place … home far from Thomas. CMPD, OSE and the Office of the Anson County Sheriff work together to resolve the matter Virgil.
