New head tripod.?
It's time to replace my primary tripod head, someone has experience with the scope of type head as the handle of the connection. I see some advantages, but how does it fit in daily use? http://www.binoculars.com/tripods/tripod-accessories/quickactiongripballhead.cfm This spring tension load that worries me – you grip even at 10, 15 and 20 years later … then again, is a Bogen – Will I have enough grip in 20? 
I used both the linked and that I am obliged. I much prefer that I am obliged. While the two handles are more practical – in most cases – the traditional chiefs and heads of 3-ball. But the problem w / the I am bound is its carrying capacity is 5.5 pounds. It is not fair for my Mamiya machine Series C, or my Canon F1 team when additional lens wear long. [I'm still using a Manfrotto 3-head and I bought around 1975.] The one who has linked a payload of 11.0 pounds. As for durability, I have a receipt for Camera Club, which uses the one I am forced at least 8 years. w / Olympus digital SLR equipment. Yet will my Canon F1 without the motor unit, but w / flash and a 100-300mm Lens (Optical is one of the most recent ice light) at any angle. Given that your partner is the same mechanism w / a different direction, I am sure that will give you a life time. As others have mentioned, is after all a product of Bogen.
