Remember there are 2 different media Minolta – MC / R and A-mount. The / MC MD manual focus lenses are and have been mounting for cameras like the Minolta SRT-202, XG-9, XE-7, X-700, etc. When Minolta introduced the Maxxum 7000 Auto Focus Camera in 1985, that changed with the A-mount. The largest TM / MD mount lenses will not come on your Maxxum 5000i. A adapter to allow use of older lenses on the camera. As you can see a vendor who says his goal is "to bring any camera Minolta" not know what they're talking about.
