Using Sony HVR-HD1000U with FCP 6?
Hello, I just bought a Sony HVR-HD1000U high-definition camcorder and had a question about the operation forestry and image capture in FCP 6. What are the best settings to use when saving images with this camera. He has a 1080i output, and I want my images to have to look Crisp HD. Are there other things I need to consider as well? I'm recording to MiniDV tape. All suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you! I am running Mac OSX 10.5
Since we are not told how or Mac OS X version you use, you may need to do a custom installation of the "Apple Intermediate Codec "using the OSX system disks. AIC is a component of QuickTime – wrongly, FCP will not recognize the HDV. The AIC to select the codec you need to do in FCP preferences.
