What a zoom lens and why should you use?
Until recently, if you bought a camera with image that probably would the length of a "fixed focal length" lens. This basically means that the increase was the same and can not be changed (or, if you could, it would be gross).
This was fine for simple situations and served as an "optimal" expansion to take standard photos.
But if you wanted to approach a topic, you must use your feet or had to buy an additional  "telephoto". This will help raise the subject, that looked closer than it really was.
Similarly, if you want to see the wider aspect of your subject, you would have to rewind or get an "A-angle lens. This would make your object look farther away than it was.
Zooms are developed to be able to change the zoom commands simple goal. A telephoto lens (or long) usually zoom enlarge the subject, as we have seen above normal to you this way may seem more action. An objective wide angle (or short) Want to zoom back to your theme that way you can look beyond your subject and get a broader view.
With both types of lenses, you can choose any stage of expansion between the two.
